With a heavy heart we at S.S Genevieve and Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr mourn the loss of Bishop Most Rev Kevin M Birmingham. Please take the time to read his obituary and remember him. Today October 3, 2023 at our 7 pm daily mass join us as at St. Genevieve for our mass dedicated in his honor.

​Funeral services for our beloved Bishop Kevin Birmingham are as follows:
Friday, Oct. 6:
Visitation
- From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Church of Our Lady of the Ridge, 10811 Ridgeland Avenue in Chicago Ridge.
- From 4 to 10 p.m. at Holy Name Cathedral, 735 N. State Steet in Chicago.
Vigil Service for the Deceased
- 7:30 p.m. at Holy Name Cathedral, 735 N. State Steet in Chicago. Cardinal Cupich will preside and Bishop Grob will preach. Cardinal Cupich will preside and Bishop Grob will preach.
Saturday, Oct. 7:
- Visitation hours from 9 to 11 a.m. at Holy Name Cathedral.
- Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at Holy Name Cathedral. Cardinal Cupich will preside over the Mass and Bishop Lombardo will be the homilist.

There will be a blessing of the Pets on October 1st after the 12:30p.m. Mass on the front steps of St. Genevieve Church. We can't wait to see all of your furry, feathered, or scaly friends!

On Saturday October 7th the domestic violence subcommittee along side the 25th district Chicago police will be spreading awareness on a very serious issue. Help support and be informed of the issue happening all around us. They will be providing information, options, Counseling, Legal and shelter services to anyone who needs it. All the information is in the flyer above if interested. Thank You

Ayude a apoyar y manténgase informado sobre el problema que sucede a nuestro alrededor.
